Hollow Core Linear Voice Coil Motor

The HVCM-095-064-051-01 Hollow Core Linear Voice Coil Servo Motor featuring a 38.1 mm (1.500 in.) stroke and 50.8 mm (2.000 in.) open aperture. This high-speed low inertia servo motor when used with an external high resolution position sensor in a closed servo loop, provides sub-micron positioning. The HVCM-095-064-051-01 Servo Motor has a continuous force rating of 68.3 N (15.4 lbs.) and a peak force of 215.9 N (48.6 lbs.) at a 10% duty cycle. Clean and quiet, this non-commutated, long life brushless linear servo motor features: High acceleration/deceleration, zero cogging and zero backlash when connected directly to a load.

The 50.8 mm (2.000 in.) diameter open aperture of the HVCM-095-064-051-01 Hollow Core Voice Coil Linear Servo Motor, also called a Moving Coil Motor, allows for optics, illumination, laser beams, tubing, and cable passage. The motor is 95.2 mm (3.750 in.) in diameter and 95.2 mm (3.750 in.) long at mid-stroke. This high speed, low inertia motor is Ideal for: Clamping, assembly, testing, optical focusing, positioning, laser beam steering, wafer handling, dynamic vibration absorption and vibration testing, laser drilling, cutting, welding, and machining applications.

Two threaded 10-32 UNF-2B X 0.38 deep mounting holes on 69.9 mm (2.750 in.) centers in the housing and coil ends allow for flexible and easy integration into new and existing applications.
