(19.1 mm) clear through-aperture allows optical beams, illumination, wiring, tubing, or other components to pass through the center of the actuator.Performance and ConstructionThe actuator measures 2.000 in. (50.8 mm) in outside diameter with a 2.00 in. (50.8 mm) housing length. It provides a 0.75 in. (19.1 mm) stroke, 5.2 lb (23.1 N) of continuous force, and 16.4 lb (72.9 N) of intermittent force at a 10% duty cycle. Its non-commutated brushless direct-drive construction provides smooth bidirectional force, zero cogging, quiet operation, rapid acceleration and deceleration, and long service life.Key Features• 0.75 in. For closed-loop position or velocity control, the motor can be combined with an appropriate position sensor, mechanical guidance system, servo controller, and current amplifier. Final positioning accuracy and repeatability depend on the sensor, guidance mechanism, load, structural stiffness, controller, and servo tuning. |
