Linear Voice Coil Motor Actuator LVCM-025-029-02

These miniature 1 inch (25.4 mm) diameter brushless high speed linear servo motors feature high force-to-size ratios, and zero cogging. Clean, quiet, and efficient they feature high accuracy and high repeatability, and sub-micron resolution when operated in a closed loop as a DC servo motor.

Featuring low inertia and high acceleration/deceleration for high throughput, these new linear servo motors have a stroke length of 0.313 in. (7.9mm), a high-force-to-size ratio of 37.6 oz. (10.5 N) and a peak force of 118.9 oz. (33.1N) at 10% duty cycle.

 

Compact, these linear voice coil motors, also known as a Moving Coil Motors, are ideal for:  Medical devices, dynamic vibration absorption, haptic feedback, work holding and clamping, scanners, laser beam steering and filtering, laser machining and drilling, wafer handling assembly, testing, and optical focusing.  

 

The LVCM-025-029-02 Linear Voice Coil Motor has a 10-32 UNC-2B threaded mounting hole in the center of the housing and two 6-32-UNC-2B threaded mounting holes on the coil end and the LVCM-025-029-02M (Metric) has a M5X0.8 0.20 (5) DP threaded mounting hole in the center of the housing and two M33.5X0.6 0.20 (5) DP threaded mounting holes on the coil end to easily integrate these linear servo motors into new or existing applications.
