This 1 inch diameter brushless high speed linear DC motor features zero cogging, is clean, quiet, and efficient. It features high accuracy and high repeatability when operated in a closed loop as a DC servo motor. Featuring low inertia and high acceleration/deceleration for high throughput, this new linear servo motor has a stroke length of 0.19 in. (4.8 mm). It has a high-force-to-size ratio of 1.65 lb (7.4 N) and a peak force of 5.2 lbs. (23.3 N) at 10% duty cycle. This linear voice coil motor, also known as a moving coil motor is ideal for: Work holding and clamping, haptic feedback, medical devices, assembly, testing, laser machining and drilling, wafer handling, optical focusing, dynamic vibration absorption, scanners and laser beam steering and filtering. This series includes both imperial and metric versions.
